Na semana de 25 a 29 vai realizar-se em Turim o Social Climate Camp (https://www.climatesocialcamp.com/).
Este acampamento foi construído por diversos movimentos sociais e por justiça climática para poder envolver ativistas de toda a Europa ao mesmo tempo que acontece o meeting europeu de Fridays for Future.
Vão ser desenvolvidos vários debates e workshops com o objetivo de criar relações entre os diversos movimentos sociais europeus, com debates sobre ecofeminismo, descolonização, e mobilização do movimento laboral.
O Climáximo vai participar no acampamento em dois momentos: participaremos na discussão sobre “Lutas e convergência: Lutas territoriais, práticas e perspectivas”, que vai acontecer no dia 26 às 14h30 (hora local), e também numa sessão organizada por nós com o título “Mudança Sistémica Global Já!”, que se realizará no dia 27 às 10h locais.
Sabemos da necessidade da construção de uma nova linha estratégica dentro do movimento pela justiça climática e este acampamento é um exemplo de que esta é uma ideia partilhada por tantas pessoas. Com as nossas sessões queremos explorar que mudanças o movimento precisa de fazer na forma como enquadramos o nosso pensamento e as nossas ações.

In the week of the 25th to the 29th, the Social Climate Camp will be held in Turin (https://www.climatesocialcamp.com/).
This camp was built by various social movements to be able to bring together activists from all over Europe at the same time as the European Fridays for Future meeting takes place.
Several debates and workshops will be held with the aim of creating relationships between the various European social movements, with debates on ecofeminism, decolonization, and mobilization of the labor movement.
Climáximo will participate in the camp in two moments: we will participate in the discussion on “Struggles and convergence: Territorial struggles, practices and perspectives”, which will take place on the 26th at 2.30 pm (local time), and also in a session organized by us with the title “Global Systemic Change Now!”, which will take place on the 27th at 10 am local time.
We know the need to build a new strategic line within the movement for climate justice and this camp is an example that this is an idea shared by so many people. With our sessions we want to explore what changes the movement needs to make in the way we frame our thinking and actions.
